We've got Bar!

The guys installed the first section of the bar last week. There will be two main sections to the bar, one, an ADA accessible counter at 8' and second, the main drag that measures 15'. The height of the bar is super critical as we've all been to bars that are either too high or too low. We ordered our stools a few weeks back so we could build the bar around the stool insuring the absolute comfort of everyone who bellies up. The bar top will be 100sf of Bianco Carerra marble. We plan on facing the bar with some of the reclaimed wood we harvested, making it look instantly old and subsequently very cool. Oh, and for the shorties out there we will have a brass railing to prop your feet on and purse hooks for the ladies and gentlemen (remember, it is San Francisco).

1)Our phallic bar top. 2) Bianco Carerra marble. Again, we're stickin' with the classics.

1) Installing a sheet of drywall to help insure the proper fit of the dining room soffit. 2) Soffit work

Cyrick and I were able to snag a few more pieces of equipment last week at a defunct sandwich shop down in Cupertino. Another one bites the dust...

1) 14"x14" sandwich press. This sucker weighs 50lbs easy. 2) An under counter ice machine and deli meat slicer.
